my sheet is not very dark. so if i was to replace the drum would that help the print quanity?

Light print normally caused by low toner. If you are sure that toner is full or not low, then yes it can be caused by worn out drum. I would replace the drum in that case. Drum usually last about 3-4 toner cartridges.

These are not refurbished. These are new compatible drums. Some recycled parts may be used to assemble.
