I have had my HP printer for over 3 years. I have regularly purchased this exact cartridge whenever it was required. NEVER have I EVER gotten close to 2800 pages of output. Further, the "LOW TONER" warning presents itself prematurely, in my opinion. I have gotten as much as 300 ADDITIONAL pages even after it is suggesting a new cartridge is required. On a positive note...the original cartridges have never given me a mechanical or software related operational problem. And the printing quality is outstanding!
If you can tolerate the minor idiosyncracies, then I highly recommend HP!
